Bloom and Belle is twin sister duo Rebecca and Sarah Street, who's shared love of all things print and pattern, inspired them to band together and create a unique and modern brand that encompasses these qualities into beautiful, original textile designs for the home and accessories market. Since a young age it became clear that creativity had an important role in both their lives, best friends as well as sisters, it was no surprise when it sent them all the way to university together, graduating from Winchester School of Art in 2015 with a degree in printed textiles and surface pattern design.

 

Growing up on the edge of the Worcestershire countryside, nature has come to be a key theme in their work, taking inspiration from the colours and forms of flowers, foliage and wildlife. In addition to this, the girls also love to travel as they find this a proficient way of expanding on their ideas and inspiration. The beauty of the natural world, whether that be in England or elsewhere around the world, allows them to give their work a coherent theme that is brought to life through their designs. Working as a duo brings a diverse hand to their work, often experimenting with various techniques and mediums, resulting in interesting and unique outcomes.
